News from Independence Games!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you know what we're doing and what is coming up for Earth Sector and Clement Sector in the near future.

Don't forget that we've opened our webstore at https://independencerpgs.com/ !

1> I am currently in the final stages of completing "Ensemble Cast". The finishing touches are being applied and, unless something catastrophic happens, you should see the PDF hit on June 11. The print version will follow shortly thereafter.

In case you don't know, "Ensemble Cast" will feature rules on the quick creation of NPCs and how the relationship with an NPC can change over time. This will be a joint Clement Sector/Earth Sector book that can also be used for almost any setting.

2> Michael Johnson is currently in the writing stage of our first Wendy's Guide for Earth Sector! The Wendy's Guides for Earth Sector will cover the space navies, doctrines, and even uniforms. The first book will cover the fleets of Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, and Japan.

3> I am working on the writing for the next Earth Sector subsector sourcebook. This one, as determined by the vote of folks in the Clement Sector Discussion Group, will be the Hecate Subsector.

And, if you're not part of the Clement Sector Discussion Group, you can join it here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/clementsector/

4> In case you missed it, I was recently interviewed by Michael C. Baker of the Waycross Gaming Community. If you'd like to see this interview, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqBRHMo_6oU&t=8s

5> Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control and not to our liking, we are going to be unable to attend the Huntsville Comic and Pop Culture Expo in Huntsville, AL. The convention will still be happening though and, if you're interested in attending, you can find out more at this link: https://www.hsvexpo.com/

We're hoping to be there next year.

6> Our next convention will be TravellerCon/USA in Lancaster, PA. This will be October 9-11, 2020. As usual, we will be there with tons of books to sell as well as running a couple of Clement Sector games. If you'd like more information, click on this link: http://www.travellercon-usa.com/

7> The following weekend (October 16-18,2020), we'll be at Crashcity Con! This is the first year for this gaming convention in Roanoke, VA and we're really looking forward to it. Run by our friend Don Haymaker at CrashCity Games (https://crashcitygames.com), this is sure to be a fun time.

That's all the news for now. Thanks for your time!
